Velocity Rewards offers a 25% Bonus for Hotel Points transfers
Virgin Australia’s Velocity Rewards program has just announced an offer to earn 25% bonus Velocity Points when you transfer your hotel points across to your Velocity account.
The offer is valid through 31 December 2015 and a minimum transfer applies.

25% Bonus Velocity Points: Points transfers are only available to Velocity members who are also members of the participating Hotel Partner Reward Programs detailed below. Points transfer must be initiated between 9:00 AEDT on 28 October 2014 and 23:59 on 31 December 2015 and in accordance with Hotel Partner reward program requirements. The 25% bonus is calculated after the transfer and is applied to the Velocity Points that result from the transfer. Minimum points transfer may be required and may vary depending on your membership status with your Hotel Partner Reward Program. Once Hotel Partner Reward Programs points have been redeemed for Velocity Points, they are governed by the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions and cannot be reversed. Transferred Points will be available in your Velocity Account subject to the Hotel Partner Reward Programs transfer timeframes. Please allow up to six weeks for your bonus Points to be credited to your Velocity account from the date of the transfer. Starwood Preferred Guest: Starwood Preferred Guests can transfer up to 79,999 of their Starpoints® per transaction within a 24-hour period to a valid Velocity Account. Multiple transfer transactions within the same 24 hour period will be rejected. Transfer rate: 1 Starpoint is the equivalent of 1 Velocity Point (not including bonus points allocated after the transfer). Once Starpoints have been transferred to your Velocity Account, they cannot be returned to the Starwood Preferred Guest account. Minimum transfer requirement of 2,500 Starpoints for Preferred Guests and 1,500 Starpoints for Gold Preferred Guests applies. There is no minimum Starpoint transfer requirement for Platinum Preferred Guests. Your Starwood Preferred Guest account and Velocity Account must have identical member name in order to complete this request; different names will cause the transfer to reject. In addition to 25% bonus Velocity Points, members who transfer 20,000 Starpoints into their Velocity Account in a single transaction will also receive 5,000 bonus Starpoints at time of transfer. Hilton HHonors: To convert your HHonors Points into Velocity Points please contact your local Hilton Reservations and Customer Care center or go to the exchange section of your HHonors account The minimum transferrable amount is 10,000 HHonors Points per conversion, which is equivalent to 1,500 Velocity Points (not including bonus points allocated after the transfer). Transfers can only be made in increments of 10,000 HHonors Points. Please allow up to 30 days for your transfer to process. Hilton HHonors™ membership and redemption of Points are subject to HHonors Terms and Conditions.
IHG® Rewards Club: Transfer rate: 10,000 IHG® Rewards Club points is the equivalent of 2,000 Velocity Points (not including bonus points allocated after the transfer). Please contact your regional IHG® Rewards Club Customer Care to transfer your IHG® Rewards Club points to Velocity Points. Please allow approximately 4 to 6 weeks to convert your IHG® Rewards points into Velocity Points and allocate them to your Velocity Account. Choice Privileges: You must be a member of a Velocity Frequent Flyer to transfer Choice Privileges points to your Velocity Account. The minimum transferrable amount is 20,000 Choice Privileges points per conversion, which is equivalent to 3,000 Velocity Points (not including bonus points allocated after the transfer). You can transfer your Choice Privileges points online at choiceprivileges.com or by calling the Choice Service Center and providing your Velocity membership number. Velocity Points cannot be exchanged for Choice Privileges points. Please allow 2 – 6 weeks for the Points to be allocated to your Velocity Account. Changes, reissuance or recredit of Choice Privileges points is not allowed once you have made a request to transfer Choice Privileges points to Velocity. Shangri-La Golden Circle: Golden Circle members can transfer their GC Award Points to their Velocity Account. Transfer rate: 1 GC Award Point is equivalent to 1 Velocity Point (not including bonus points allocated after the transfer). A minimum transfer amount of 2,500 GC Award Points, with subsequent 500 point increments, applies. Please allow up to 6 weeks for the Points to be allocated to your Velocity Account. Le Club AccorHotels: The minimum transferrable amount is 4,000 Le Club AccorHotels Points per conversion, which is equivalent to 4,000 Velocity Points (not including bonus points allocated after the transfer). Members must login to their Le Club AccorHotels membership account at accorhotels.com/leclub to transfer their Le Club AccorHotels points to Velocity. Please allow up to six weeks for your points to be credited to your Velocity account. After your Le Club AccorHotels Points are converted into Velocity Points, these Points are subject to the Velocity Frequent Flyer general terms and conditions.
